Non physical beings forming physical bodies out of aeather?
 

So, I was having a chat with this guy who claims to spend his time hunting monsters and such. He seems a bit off. Well studied, but I dunno.

He was mentioning using a physical gun as a weapon against monsters, and I began questioning him on that. He claims that some spiritual entities are capable of forming physical bodies, and you'll get things like werewolves coming out.

So apparently, when he shoots the gun, the bullet stays in the body. But the body disappears. And it formed out of nothing but aether.

And I didn't think to question this, but the bullet then disappears with the body?

I dunno, I'm thinking he's full of it.

I would like to think he's being honest and not just screwing with me, but I'm finding this hard to swallow.

I mean, have any of you ever heard of such a thing, or suspect it could be grounded in reality?

I suggest in order to get the truth just go with him on one of his hunts and observe what he does, its the only proof I can see you getting, just stay out the line of fire, till you get your proof. if its not legit, I suggest you report him, cause those bullets can stray and kill someone.

To shoot at a spirit or being that is not physical would do nothing, too is this a gun that fires something concrete such as a metal object, if so this in itself is dangerous.

I have worked with many a paranormal investigative team and "never" as any kind of weapon been a part of it. Devices to record or sense movements ext but never a gun. Never heard of such a concept. You can not shoot at something that is not solid in mass, nor can you use a device to destroy a spirit essence. That is done by moving them over into the Light.

I would be wary of this person, as something is off base. Maybe to them they feel they are doing something. Yet never heard of such a thing ever.
