( serious question) how come my i felt this way?

I tried communicating through telepathy by saying contact ( ) ( ) loves you. and just saying my name a lot to him. 4th time I said it my heart started to race and I felt like I do when I see him smile and laugh which is a amazing feeling. why is this did I make him get a crush on me some how and I was feeling how he felt? or was he laughing about me bombarding him with my name and saying to contact me? lol
