what to expect from an akashic record reading
 

Hi all,

I'm new here, I just introduced myself at the introduction section and would like to ask a question regarding an Akashic Record reading that I had done earlier this week.

First of all, intuitively I would think that I would not need to very precisely verbalize each question I would like to ask: If the reader connects to this complete place of utter knowledge, surely the intent of my question should be able to come across if for example I would ask: 'Something really difficult happened to me today. I would like to get clarity on the issue and to know what it exactly was, that happened.'

Also, the reader started to ask me very detailed information regarding my youth and regarding the relationship with my mom. This struck me as very strange as well, since I had given her permission to access my Akashic Records and to take out the information that she needed.

So in summary, I would say that I was disappointed. I had expected her to not need that much information from me, connected as she should be to this place of utter knowledge. Was I wrong in that expectation? Can anyone give me clarity on this issue? I would very much appreciate it.

While it might be true that such a person, if they arent effectively scamming, should be able to come by information without asking your life's story, it is also notable that the Akashic records are certainly NOT a place of utter knowledge as they exist on the lowest area of the mental (memory) plane.
There is really no reason that you, yourself couldnt learn how and go have a look at your own records.

Thank you for replying! Could you maybe explain a little more to me about the nature and expansiveness of the knowledge in the Akashic Records?

to make it short and sweet, the Akashic records are the records of every life any particular Soul has had within the lower planes whether they be physical ones as a human, or any other life form on earth, or even on different planets and/or star systems, or on the astral plane and the mental planes.
these records may appear somewhat different to each that goes there to examine them, but generally speaking, theyre sort of like a library catalogue, where putting the attention on a particular " card " or file brings it to life in three dimensional vision, which is to say, you would witness that past life happening around you, you would be an observer within the scene, just not directly involved and apparently invisible to those within the scene.
in this way it is possible to re-examine past lives that gave you karma in some way so as to re-balance things, to see the cause of a thing that troubles you in this life and to successfully resolve it once and for all. it will contain the knowledge of these past lives, but the Universal Mind is still a bit deeper in, so this isnt a place of unlimited knowledge.
