God and other entities

There are forces who deliver Godly knowledge to the noble souls. In hinduism they are called devas and devies (deities), in christianity it's angels and in islam it's malaikah. what are the differences between these forces and the GOD?

The difference between these forces and 'God' is your mind and its power of imagination.

To me, it is the difference between your inner guide (your source of knowledge and guidance), and your inner-self (the one that created you, that projects into the physical as you). It is like the Christian Trinity: son (you here), father (your inner-self), holy ghost (inner guide).

*Hey, wait a minute - added later ---you placed this in multiple topics ---you're new here --we don't do that.

Whoa, this could be a deep question.
What is the difference between you and God when you help someone?
What is the diff between a boss and his employee carrying out a wish of the boss' ?
Does the employee do something on his own or is it because of carrying out a wish?

Is there a diff between the Sun and it's rays that go out warming and lighting a billion miles of space all around? Or are they one?
When my hand does something is that hand 'me'?

So someone could say all of the above is part of the One God - the boss, the employee, the rays, the hand - the bird flying in Russia -
all part of the One Mind that is within everything.

Or you could go the simple route and say "Difference"? -
Well you have the One God, then you have 'His' lovers or servants, extensions appearing as individual forms loving
to do whatever He wishes them to do...say, sprinkle stardust on this one to
"deliver Godly knowledge", as you say.

But, is it all 'from God Himself', ultimately?

Your ques could be a mind bender or a person wanting the answer could
sit in meditation and one day it could all become experientially clear, all revealed to them.

My take. :)

The root word for the Sanskrit 'devas/devies' is 'div', which literally translates to "Shining One". The root word for 'angel' and some of the angels' names Michael, Raphael... - is 'el', which literally translates to "Shining One." The word 'el' is taken fro the Elohim that are frequently mentioned in the Bible and comes from Sumerian mythology. Malaikah are angels. According to Graham Hancock and his book Fingerprints of the Gods, some 495 cultures across time and geography - the Mayans called them the Viracochas and the ancient Irish called them the Tautha de Danaan or Children of Diana - spoke of the very same beings. Other than the Abrahamic religions I'm not aware of any others that worship a single God and those other religions would have had either a pantheon or no God/gods at all. The Shining Ones were worshipped as gods because of their wisdom and knowledge and were actual, living people so the forces/deities actually existed. That's the difference between God and those 'forces'.

God can be traced back, via Constantine and Zoroaster, to the Sumerian Enlil although some have said Marduk. For the most part the Old Testament God is an interaction between Enlil and Enki, and is based on the Tales of Gilgamesh.

While that may not be as wonderful as believing God is working miracles with ancient mankind, the wonderment is that in an age when there was supposedly no interaction between people who couldn't have possibly travelled the distance, there were people who had obviously travelled the distance. Exactly the same stories - barring language - were emerging across cultures and the barriers of geography through thousands of years. There was something else going on at the time that was far more Spiritual - and in terms of a global collective consciousness - going on thousands of years ago when there was no internet. It certainly makes me wonder.

Interesting, to me the devic energy delivers the intent of the creator, creative force, it is everywhere and in everything. If we personify this energy, as humans have a habit of doing, than this energy becomes devas.

The angelic have a completely different function within creation.
God, if we remove the personification, then we are most likely left with a creative force.

The angelic energy can take form and does, the devic energy never.
This is simply due to the different functions.

We could consider Creation as Source expressing itself through energies and principles manifesting as a hierarchy of beings and forms.

In this hierarchy of beings there are those who are closer to Source who have a greater understanding of the governing principles and energies. When I say "closer to Source" I am not speaking in terms of distance, because Source is everywhere. Those who are more aligned with Source provide guidance for those who are less aligned with Source.

So all these devas, angels, etc are beings who are higher up in the hierarchy of beings, but they are still expressions of Source, not Source itself. We too as beings stand somewhere in this hierarchy, learning to align ourselves with the greater Will of Source.

Peace
