Any lessons that person failed to learn that they chose to learn before reincarnation just has to face them again in the next life. Sometimes they can get harder.

I just want to put this out there. About a month ago I always thought that you would either go into utero when you left Earth via suicide or would be an Earth bound spirit. That being said, I had a visit from an old friend who died about 15 yrs ago (official report was OD but he was struggling with his sexuality & most believed it to be suicide, including myself) He was my first spirit to talk to me. Let me just say he was happy & at peace. I don't know for sure anymore about anything, but I still believe we are here to learn & teach & suicide I would think would void out 'contract' or charts if you will.

I look at pain and hardship as something we choose to experience before we incarnate. Suicide cuts the experience short so I do believe we have to finish what we wanted to learn or release and that finishing it can be challenging.

I also think that seriously considering suicide is a sign that it's time to ask for help. There are better ways to stop pain. Pain can be transformed and many are helped when this is successfully done. I would try to reach out and get past this. All the best to you and hang in there.

I have awareness, therefore I am.

No such thing as reincarnation. Quit worrying about it. If you let your physical body die, it will be lights out for you forever. It'll be as if you never was. We are only the spiritual energy field living life...not individuals repeating or continuing in any way.

Your mother gave up part of her spiritual energy which became you. That's the only way a physical life can start.

Who makes that judgement call, who decides failure or success? If Spiritual people don't judge then Spirit is a lot less likely to.

Good example. If Spirit is as good as it's cracked up to be with Loving Spirits waiting for us on the other side, who's to say they'll make an exception about suicide? Which might well be the lesson/karma/whatever else. Suicide as a lesson/destiny, is that so hard to think about?

If there is no time to Spirit and everything is right here, right now, where does that put the linearity of past Lives, karma, lessons etc? It sounds very much like a contradiction to me.

And if suicide is meant to be the experience? I'm not criticising here, just asking the questions that most don't want to.

That's a good point. I'm just speaking from my own experience, but in all fairness, a few forms of spirituality do see life this way. I think if someone chose to come here as a suicide it would be to try and understand and help that situation, not succumb to it.

I'm not hard and fast stuck t any belief system. I just look at my own experience and inner stuff and am left with things that seem more likely to me than others, But of course, who knows? Not me.

We are all here for a reason and a purpose.... Karma to be settled, lessons to be learned (through experience), tasks to be accomplished, to contribute to the greater good...

Life is not easy. Should it be? Nothing worth doing ever comes easy. If it did, there would be not merit in achieving it.

The trials and tribulations of life are there to be overcome. They represent essential staging posts on the spiritual journey.

Life is a gift. If we all bailed out when the going got tough, there'd be no-one left..
True, there can be mitigating circumstances to take into consideration, but better to stand your ground and let Destiny run its course.

Also, I've been suicidal. I live with PTSD and recurrent major depression, and it's not always a bunch of fun, although I do pretty well 90% of the time. 90% of the time you wouldn't know this by looking at me. I have an advanced degree, held down a job for 30 years, and raised three kids.

So, having BEEN suicidal, I know (speaking for myself only) that if I had succeeded it would have been tragic for me and my family, because I didn't really want to die, I wanted relief from horrific flashbacks and a debilitating emotional condition.

So I'm all for sticking it out. Tomorrow is another day. Nothing lasts forever. This too shall pass. And so forth.

If necessary, ask for help until you get it.

I honestly believe that most of us have felt suicidal at one point or another in our lives..

When I was in my late teens I spent most of my time feeling suicidal and wishing I had the guts to do something about it. Then, I got sick and ended up in ITU on life support with my family being told to prepare for the worst. I think I made myself sick with my negative thoughts.

I obviously came through it and actually have some brilliant memories of the month I spent in hospital. There have been times, over the years when things have been going badly when I've thought about it again. At those times things were great with my dad so I knew the devastation it would cause him - so I did nothing.

Now, I have bad times, like everyone else, but I'm very thankful I'm still here.
