Fact or fiction

Many dreams as usual - most just interesting (like a movie), the other night I even had one that showed me the "ending" for once, it was kind of like a detective twist at the end. Last night I dreamt I was sexually molested, and it was my brother who did it. I bought some high end clothes and realized two more were in there so I shoplifted it, but then realized maybe there were cameras so thought of a ploy to bring it back in, without being caught. Bought, or was offered, some very expensive chocolates. I offered to pay for them, and the owner took me up on the offer, so I paid for some fine chocolates.
I wonder if dreams are just related to what we see in daily walking consciousness - one time I had nightmares after watching Game of Thrones.

i figure that dreams do usually relate to things that we are experiencing
in waking life, but that they often relate to dynamics of life that are below the
threshold of observation (fundamentals of things that we can't see due to being
directly aware of 'surface level' goings on). incorporating 'real life' images, or
things that are observed on tv or such can act as convenient shorthand for
delivering the information.

to dream of being sexually molested may relate to the idea that you've felt
yourself being used as a pawn in someone else's gratification, without regard
to your welfare and sense of well-being. the "fact or fiction" of you being used,
by your brother in this case, seems up to your own sense of things... how
you've perceived events. the brother character could be a 'stand-in' for someone
or something else that you may have felt would naturally place your interests
ahead of their 'selfish' desires.

the shoplifting scene confuses me, since you've specified "two more", yet then
speak of taking "it" [singular]. also, you evidence taking care to not be caught
returning the item(s), with no apparent concern prior, in the illegal act...
if there were a camera, it would've spotted (been looking for) the theft i imagine.

the chocolates are a dessert item... indicating that you've already consumed
your sustenance foodstuffs and are now in position for the 'extra reward'.
this is like having learned your life lessons (for the time being) and now
reaping the bonus from your efforts. for you to be offered the treats as a
matter of course is like saying you've earned this reward, and for you to
pay for them anyways is like reinvesting in the process, so that others
might benefit more readily from your experiences.

Yes. H:O:R:A:C:E  you are right, I tried to return the shoplifted item(s) and wrote sloppily. Yes, no guilt about the theft per se, just being caught (very naughty?)

Your answers, and perspectives, and opinions, are always most kindly and gratefully received. Thank you so very much dear Sir.

you've withheld the denouement blossomingtree... the resolution of the
plot was (apparently) laid bare for you, with a "twist at the end" included...
but you've yet to share that with us [whomever may happen upon this thread].

i'm inclined to envision the shop from which you'd absconded with pricey clothing
as being earthly, physical incarnation. you'd taken materials for which you were
unentitled (without penalty!), and then snuck back into this realm unawares, in
an effort 'set things aright'. [the 'true crime' was in re-entry; involving a "ploy".]

Sorry H:O:R:A:C:E for my careless writing. The "twist" was actually in another dream, another night, but I forgot it except to remember waking up thinking that finally seen an "ending" of a dream {often seem like stories and I sometimes wake up wondering what would have happened} I just remember now it was a clever twist.
