Are syncronicities ever red herrings?
 

I've always been more inclined towards spirituality but around 4 months ago I really started awakening and what stood out to me was synronicities. The more I read up on it, the more I started to see. I've been meditating and trying to connect with my guides and I have noticed them responding with the use of signs, numbers etc. And I was with a medium and I asked them to pass me a message (a message they had passed through another medium previously) and it worked. So I'm in no doubt that they are there and listening.

The initial syncronicities I experienced were actually relating to another person. it felt to me that they were pointing us both in the same direction, ensuring we were coming into contact and that we were going to continue to come into each other's path.

I do wonder though if I'm reading too much into this though and perhaps the sync was for another reason all together? It would be good to hear people's thoughts on this and their own experiences.

A sign, or message is always delivered at the right time at the right moment!

That's the explanation: you instructed your subconscious to point your attention to "something", then you started to notice that "something".

yeah. if you aren't careful the synchronicities can lead you into believeing things that have no basis in reality. But that maybe isn't so bad as you get to learn the difference between fantasy and reality....

Yes, sometimes things just randomly line up. Far more often however, the message is just too obscure to figure out.

Here's what happens to me.Besides the usual number patterns (1111 etc),when i try to manifest something,i see it all around me in the form of signs.

For example yesterday i did an affirmation to find 10 euros.After some seconds,a guy comes out of the super market,talking to his friend about how he spend his 10 euros.It happens all the time,even when i do colour meditation teqniques.For me it's a sign that my desire isn't going to manifest,because everytime i'm succesful,there are no signs at all and my desire is just manifest.

I affirm that i want 10000 euros,and soon i'll see the sum on a TV program,on the web,magazines,someone will speak about it,etc.

Numbers are like those tones you hear in either ear occasionally, low, medium or high tones that come and go just as quickly, maybe about 5 seconds etc. The sequence of numbers are the same in principle.

They're not showing you something you would want, they're tweaks to re-tune you lol and its not the divine re-tuning you.

Yes.

The Universe can sometimes play the trickster role if it wants you to go down a certain path.

I found the realization of it to be very hard to swallow.
