Lunar Eclipse tonight!
 

I'm not sure if this has been posted elsewhere but there will be a total eclipse of the moon tonight, its meant to be the best in years.

The moon will turn totally red as the sun moves behind th Earth and the only light hitting the moon will be that that is reflected from the Earths atmosphere.

It already started about half an hour ago and will continue until about midnight, with the best being seen about elevenish.

Its going to be amazing!!

wahey i saw it !!! just a bit of it still white rest of it red, could this be causing the problems today then??

if i'd realised at the time i'd have took the camera out

Wasn't there some prophecy in the bible which warns of the end times when the moon turns red in the sky? I'm sure it's in Revelations somewhere....lol.:wink:

Its believed by some that a red moon is a blood moon and isn't a particularly good omen. Personally I loved watching it last night :smile: If anything I've felt clearer than I have done for awhile today.

Theres another lunar eclipse in the middle of the month apparently :smile:

Actually, I lie... I did look up at it from the bedroom window at about 10pm, and with focus, an energy started to filter in which felt nice.

Not really sure where to go with this, but there you go...
