I am so, so sorry for your sudden loss. You have not asked for sympathy, but people still feel it - wish to express it. It is sad for everyone when someone dies. Thank you for the reminder, too - it is easy to forget. :icon_frown: :hug3:
It has often awed me how often, when someone dies, this gift of instant clarity comes about. In a rush of comprehension we see exactly who that person really was, what made them entirely unique and precious - like no one else. Their qualities are crystalized in a flash, their trespasses insignificant, forgiven. We wonder how we could have possibly been in their sphere but did not honor them each and every day. I wonder if, when we die, our ongoing consciousness is given that same clarity - that we see ourselves exactly as we were, and wonder why we didn't notice our own preciousness and honor that, too.
