Passing thoughts with trees
 

The trees reflect
The changes
Here getting ready
For the slumber
There getting ready
To wake up
All happening
Now and in the present
Only see the landscape
From which the feet stand
The mind expanding
Beyond the horizon
Images from near and far
Fill the inner scape
Why look beyond?
Look at the trees
They know and reflect
The movements and change
Knowing is one thing
Experiencing another
Both blend in mind
Bringing images and thoughts
Some focused
Some wandering
Through the inner scape
Through the life unfolding
All the while the trees
Stand silent
Sometimes only whisper
Allowing what come to come
Allowing what passes to pass
Where they stand
And are present
Look to the trees
They tell natures secrets
But, only secret to one
Who does not look
Who does not listen
Who does simple sit
And be with the trees

what a beautiful poem with such meaning it really lifted my vibration, but i love poems that stand out, you have a lovely talent. As you can see iam new to this forum but i love poetry and also write so ill put some on shortly for all to read. keep doing what your doing it really talks though you

Acknowledging the trees


How long have you stood there?
What have you witnessed?
Do you care?
Or are you just passive?
How giving you are.
Giving homes to the birds and other creatures
Giving a place for the birds
to check out the terrain
Giving shade when it's hot
Giving shelter from the rain
You stand there never asking
Yet feel the wisdom from your age
You cleanse the air
Give back oxygen for us
How can I not find honor towards you?
No wonder you inspire the mind
to wander in dream like thoughts
You show silence and peace
Thank you for being here
Thank you Creater for giving us
Such majestic beings
