CNO Triple Alpha Nuclear Reaction in Indian Scriptures
 

It seems Britannica Encyclopedia's Editorial Board is not a well read staff. Otherwise they would have known that Indian Scriptures contain nuclear and bio-nuclear sciences, besides a host of other subject matters, that are yet to be discovered.

In nuclear science, the reaction in which 4 hydrogen burns to produce helium and 3 helium get fused to make one carbon atom, is called triple alpha reaction.

In Srimad Bhagavad Puran (Canto 2; ch 4; Verse 20 -31) these reactions are described as below:

'... Originated from God's mind, Maya (the thought energy ) gets converted into Pradhan ( the dark energy) that transforms into Prakriti ( Dark matter.. to ....electron, proton, neutron ). Prakriti gets nucleo synthesized into Mahatattwa ( hydrogen) When hydrogen is further synthesized, it produces Ahankar ( helium) that has three derivatives, ...one stream is Carbon...the second stream is Nitrogen..and the third stream is Oxygen... or CNO ( Details 'The Universe...ISBN 9788190950206 )

The description continues and ends up with earth or silicon. It also describes bio nuclear reactions in which Nitrogen and Oxygen produce biologically sensitive elements that form our mussels, brain and sense organs, unknown to our scientists.

It would be better if the Encyclopedia Publishers update their editions, and refrain from misguiding people.
