Distance Reiki Question
 

I've recently completed my master level reiki and most of my sessions have been hands on reiki.

For those who have done much distant reiki treatments do your subjects tend to have the same physical and other symptoms as when you do reiki in person ?

I know that the universal energies are working regardless, but i'm curious. In person most of my subjects usually do experience physical symptoms and visuals however in the two distance sessions performed this was not the case.

Does this seem to coincide with the experience of other reiki practitioners ?

Sometimes a distance healing may have a totally different approach than what you may have thought it would be. For example, a person that has anxiety problems. So you send a emotional distant healing.

All of the sudden that persons long distant mom or dad starts to take more interest in the person that you're trying to help.

For me the effect is exactly the same as if they were infront of me. Did you do the excercise during master level where you lay down the distant symbol and move away from the client and they say they can still feel your hands on them and were not aware that you moved until they opened their eyes? I love it when they start swiping at themselves thinking some sort of critter must be on their chest....lol. Two of my clients, one 50 kms away and another in the other in the UK both reported feeling my hands on them during distance work. I feel the same product is being delivered regardless and Reiki is not effected by time and distance but may suffer if your intent is not strong and clear.

No but ive done impromptu exercises such as that. Each individuals reaction may be different from another. In fact if you have two different sessions with the same person. Each experience can be different.

It all depends on the needs of the receiver, transmitter and God. Remember it's God who's actually dolling out the energy and the amount needed. Specially at distance healings.

Reiki really is a fascinating science and practice isn't it.

However the more attuned we become the more in tuned we are with what's happening. The more you practice on yourself the move proficient you'll be.

Each person has a different feeling. I am always sending distance reiki to my boyfriend and he may not be able to feel it, but he can feel a difference after I do it. It works better in person for me, but I am only a level 2. I never use the distance symbol, but I focus on him and where I want to send the energy.

I had to go back and have a re-read as i may have missed the point first go around. The clients individual symptoms do vary for me but the lethargy and having to wake most of them up is pretty much standard. I think that clients at a distance may not let themselves go as much as ones that are in front of you uneffected by phones, kids and such. Those that can trully relax with your hands keeping them secure may be in a calmer state of mind to experience the visual images, colours, OOBE's etc that come with the meditive state associated with transfering Reiki energy.

Kristin050585, You are not "only" a level 2, you are capable of achieving great things, which can change peoples lives. :smile:

Im not the best drawer. But just saying the words. Such as cko koo rey ect is good as well. Andvtelling of your intentions is important.

Sometimes when i practice. I dont even do the symbols or give the intention. I keep it at low energy. Sort of like a baseball player taking practice swings.

Also i hate saying " should". But practice on yourselves as often as possible. Im on the road a lot. So i use myself as a guinea pig sort of.

Plus when you go from low intensity to full energy. You can reallywfeel the difference and see it.

If it works for you. That's fine. I do most if my work. While most people are sleeping. I've also learned a variety of techniques for different scenarios.

Since i do most of my healings or at least a large number. While im driving. I cant really close my eyes while doing a healing or attunement. So i do much of it by feel or sensation.

Sometimes i'll follow up with another session. When im not driving.
