Signs of an afterlife?
 

I haven't given much thought to the afterlife, other than it must be a better place, without earthly suffering.
Until i have had an experience, regarding my grandparents, about 20 years now deceased. I was meditating and felt a negative current from some guy that doesn't like me, a dark type of person. I was ignoring it, and then i saw an image of my grandmother, who i was very close to and felt her presence. She was kind of angry with me and somehow i felt she was in a way guiding me to accept challenges that involve people who don't like me or i don't like and move on in life. After i stood up, i went to the bathroom and was standing in front of the mirror. I again felt my grandmother's presence around me, as well as my granddad who had died when i was very young, i felt them together, like they exist somewhere in the afterlife as a couple, and exist there in the next stage of their journey, they were somehow transmitting strength to me, or rather, the will to be strong in life and to carry on.

The way I understand it ... We are sent guidance all the time, but most of us aren't usually tuned in. When messages get through to us, they are presented through the imagination plane, that gives us a form accessible to us. Further, the messages are affected by our beliefs and our emotions.

For example, when I asked to get in contact with my deceased parents, they get an appearance familiar to me.

So, the message you got might be genuine, from a higher intelligence, that may or may not be your deceased grandmother, and that message is filtered by your beliefs and emotions. You should meditate on it to confirm it, or use whatever method of getting into an altered state of consciousness, and ask for more explicit higher guidance. You can also use so deviation method, like the I Ching.

I see what you mean. But it really had the energy of my grandmother, best as i can remember it. How else would you describe it, if not some type of existing entity related to the human entity that my grand mother used to be?

I haven't even read the I Ching yet.
