Talia

Hello!

Does anyone know who Talia is? I've heard her mentioned with like a veil to the past, I.e. "nå, fru Talia, dreg teppet ditt til side!" Which means "now, lady Talia, pull your curtain away!"
In a play about a vety well known king in the Viking age here in Norway. I'm guessing there's some kind of connection to Norse mythology, but can't seem to find any info on the person. Is she a goddess?

Hi,

Sometimes old pagan beliefs and introduced ideas get all mixed up.
From Google search:
Quote:

Meanings and history of the name Talia:
Hebrew, feminine form of Tal, meaning "dew from Heaven." It can also be a nickname for Natalya.

Thalia was one of the Nine Muses. She's associated with thearter and comedy: Link.
