Hello,
I am interested in learning reiki but i dont know where to start. Can somone please post a link with information on this. When i try and look it up i either get fake sites or i have to pay to read the information. Please help me :3

You could have a look at the reiki association, the international centre for reiki training. Maybe get along to a local reiki practioner close to where you live or work for a an appointment to have some reiki.

I started by pretty much combing the web for information before I met some local practitioners and teachers. International Center for Reiki training (reiki.org) does contain a bit of information. You might even find some books on Reiki at a local public library (as I certainly did). Receiving Reiki and asking questions from a local practitioner is a good start, also, but not required.

Reiki is actually a pretty simple form of hands-on healing. To put it plainly, it involves mostly a little bit of believing, a little bit of focusing, a little bit of faith, and a little bit of working with yourself in spiritual development. Mostly what is involved during a formal learning process is a form of spiritual attunement (kind of like opening a valve into your spiritual self, higher energies, higher-self, that sort of thing) that is performed by an instructor, learning a few symbols (some of which may be Kanji characters) which would aid you in focus, and various techniques that could improve your practice. It doesn't get much more complicated to this, though some books on the subject can be quite thick :).

If you got any specific questions about Reiki, feel free to ask. I've studied both the Usui branch of Reiki and Karuna Reiki, so I should be able to answer a few questions in those areas, especially if your looking into formal training.

Everyone has pretty much given the information to start. Doing a little research and buying some books will help your knowledge. Also, my Reiki master had told me that its also good to gain the experience from Reiki sessions. Find a reiki master or practitioner and have some reiki sessions done on you to gain some first hand experience and healing. The healing will really help. After you go through some sessions and understand the basis of the healing system you'll be better ready. Trust your intuition too. Let guide you into knowing when you are ready.

Confused, where are you located? If you're local to a Reiki person here, perhaps they (or I) could point you to someone to teach you.

And i live in PA, but if you look at my info im only 15 so it is hard to get help at such a young age but if you can refer me to someone id really appricate that thanks so much for all the info i will definatly do more looking up and i have found out some sence i posted the thread and i have been preforming self reiki idk what form or amything it was just an exercise. I found and i feel lighter and happyier afterwards:) but please keep the info coming:)

:D I can attune, not a master of that sort, but definity can attune for Reiki, I live in new Jersey but my attunements can be sent at a distant, then I can guide you to what you need and the information, then onto how to apply it and use it. If Triner hasn't found a way yet :D I'm almost sure he has, but still :P if your there already, I can give you attunements for higher levels (I don't charge. Nope not even a penny. Never have. Never will.. thank goodness to otherwise I think the money would get in the way, get in my mind..) I believe all people can heal and have the ability. That they all have a right to that ability, so long as they realize all they have to do is ask for it to become more open, more accessible and effective for them. Guidance is easy, the hard part is asking the question :D
