Do all creatures have souls

A question regarding the soul concept.
Do all creatures have souls?
I've heard of tree and animal spirits, but here I meant 'all' creatures. Blades of grass, bacterium and even viruses are technically living creatures too, yet I never heard of their spirits... Are they considered to have have souls too?

Life is the spirit of god .

Souls with or without would they or it be less than? Ancient beliefs suggest that there are all kinds of spirits, ask the Indians. Only as we know it do we then bless it with or without a soul. Even Gaia (mother earth) some say has a soul. So, solely up to you.

I don't know, but I know all things are of creation,Source ,God (choose your own name for it) which means me, you, that flower, the foodmixer in the kitchen..are all made of molecules.

If we are all , along with everything else , molecular...well we can't really get much more interconnected than that.

Two schools of thought here, one says that every living thing ,from a blade of grass, to a human has a soul, this soul becomes more individualised and sophisticated as it is recycled into higher forms, ie. the blade of grass will eventually reach the dizzy heights of being a human. The other belief is that humans are in some way unique, they are set apart, they alone have the creators spark within, this is to say that animals and plants though they may be "alive"will never reach a human level, Im not sure which I believe, but I,d like to think it,s the former.

All things are 'alive' as facets of the Earth Soul, but not everything has 'individualisation'.

Silver Birch said (re domesticated animals) "They are ready for your love and affection because they are awaiting the next stage of their evolution, which is incarnation as humans"

He also explained re- a 'new soul' (or 'young soul' as opposed to an 'old soul' i.e. someone who has incarnated in many human earthly experiences)
"The new one comes from the group, the group that was once animal, the pool of spirit which has been through all the evolutionary stages."

In my theories, a soul can also be called a consciousness. I personally believe all living things have some bits of this consciousness, just maybe not on this level of vibration.

It depends on your own personal philosophy.

I feel that everything comes from a single source - a singularity, if you will, and that naturally, there can be no divisions or separations, either real or promulgated.

Given the illusion of what we think we are, and following the same kind of personal ignorance, I would say that the human soul is quite different from the animal/plant kingdoms. With the human soul, a need has developed to move away from source and begin to question its own existence. This can be seen as an evolution or devolution, depending on which way you think about it.

Take for example a tree, which is clearly a living entity. Does a tree question its existence or does it simply go about being a tree? If anything, the tree can be seen as living in closer accordance to the source given its non-questioning nature.

Don't we go further back then molecules? Where did the idea of molecules come from?

And if you can't tell, I'm actually agreeing with you!

In my knowledge, there are parallel Soul-Existences equally valid to those of Human Beings. There are some Souls who incarnate in the form of animals who can even be in advance of the stage of some Human spiritual awareness.

In my own personal experience, I have known those we call "animals" who are completely individual Souls, and capable of high levels of spiritual development.

I have heard that some animals belong to a "Group consciousness" but I have no personal experience of that, so can't say I know for certain about exactly how that operates.

I have also observed Mind at work in the plant kingdom. So in a way all that lives, embodies the Divine in physical manifestation.
