Child claming to be reincarnation of pricess Diana
 

Have you heard about that child? It's all over the news, from what I heard, he had no idea of who is Diana and then one day, his family received a postcard with princess Diana on it, then he saw it and said that he used to be princess Diana but some beings came and took him and he stopped being Diana.

I have not heard this but nothing is impossible.a point in fact being my daughter I had an Ectopic pregnany then a misscarrage and I knew I was not meant to loose her it was a girl and I named her.
when my daughter was born approx. 12 months later when she was 2 she said my name used to be Stephanie but I had to go back, but now I'm here with a new name,
she told me she was with her brother but only she could come back.
this is all true,

I believe that to be a hoax, a publicity stunt. Even if not, there are other probable explanations.

Disclosure: I had many past-life and life-between-lives regressions, and I know a lot about the subject.

This was also my first thought too.

And yet, if we believe that reincarnation is a fact, then sooner or later the Soul which expressed itself through Diana will take on a new body. So why not this boy? Many children seem to recall their last incarnation with details of their family, but such memories usually fade by the age of seven. In this case, the previous incarnation happens to be a very famous person.

I do not get the impression that this is a hoax or a publicity stunt - someone is just reporting what their child is saying.

Sometimes the most simple explanation is the most likely.

It's also interesting how so many people claim to have been Cleopatra or Julius Ceasar. I think a lot of people are just stuck up in their minds wanting to be someone important, you rarely read about people's past lives being mundane. It seems everyone, especially in spiritual circles, have been head priest/priestess, king or queen, army commander, etc. Almost nobody says they were a shark, prostitute, tree, or trash collector. It's all ''Ooh no, I was this royalty and I was so important!''

If this kid really was Diana then surely it can be put to the test.

Agree - there are many ways this boy could be tested if the family was willing.

And yes, there is a lot of glamour around the subject of who we might have been in past lives. But those who claim to have been Cleopatra or Caesar are normally adults. Choosing the identity of Princess Di seems an odd choice for a boy aged less than three. Would other children of that age really be making similar claims?
