Although I'm kind of used to
Not hearing your sound
I'm still heartbroken that you're
No longer around.

It's still your sound
I anticipate to find
Attachments of
The subconscious mind.

I stand where you did
I remember the day
You made your last sound
The life in you went away.

I'll never forget
The final rest
Time won't make me
Treasure you any less.

But now you're gone
No longer in pain
That's the only ray of sun
Through the rain.

Although I'm getting used to
Not hearing your sound
I'll never get used to the fact
You were once around.
