Even a fiercely devoted/loving mother 'tiger', recognizing that to 'dally' too long puts her and her other cubs' welfare at greater risk, after dallying to help and encourage a 'lame' cub to keep up, seeing that it is not 'up' to doing so, realizes that it's time to move on, 'gives' said cub 'to God' and leaves it behind as she ushers her others cubs to a new den and resting place on hiher ground as the 'flood' approaches.

No 'spirit' is ever really abandoned, because 'spirit' is immortal and all is 'spirit'.

Love of Life transcends personal 'love', and because of that requires some 'tough', seemingly callous at times, choices.

"Other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, ... "
