Bugs creep me the **** out in the first place never mind a black one jumping on my bed while I'm sitting on it, where my tarot cards are spread out a bit messy ,it literally went straight for my tarot cards and jumped right on the king of swords I'm so freaked out I was screaming trying to kill it, it wouldn't die so I threw it out the window

You didn't intend to have a tarot reading. You didn't intend that an animal would select cards for you. That's why the card doesn't mean aything special in this situation. It is just as symbolic as the direction you threw the beetle or the place that it fell. If you start to look for omens and predictive symbols everywhere, you'll get overflown by them. You can't make sense of them any more. You'll end up more confused than you were in the beginning.

I think that it could mean a little something, definitely an introspection opportunity. You are scared of bugs, the black beetle startled/scared you quite a bit and you scrambled to get it away from you, first trying to squash and then eventually just throwing it out the window. The beetle went for the King of Swords, which if I understand it right, is very symbolic of powerful (in some way) authority figures, among very similar and closely related concepts. So again an introspection opportunity could be present for you. Is there an authority figure in your life who intimidates you a great deal, either openly or deep down? Could this be an area of yourself where you need some self-nurturing and growth, perhaps such as gaining confidence and realizing your own authority over yourself and your life?

I like this idea. So the beetle gave you a chance for a surprise tarot reading. But you don't have to have a reading, unless you want.

It has been a while since I read tarot, but I took a look at Kim Huggens' Tarot 101 book. 'The King of Swords as an authority figure' idea is clearly there. King of Swords is also an analytical, strategic thinker.

Some interpretation ideas:

Think before you act. Then act. This one is hard to do when you are scared.

Try to see insects more analytically. Can you read a popular science book about them? You could choose a book about some less frightening species, or a book with drawings instead of photographs. Unfortunately I can't recommend such book.
