Sadness with new Labradorite Pendant
 

Hello,

I recently purchased a Labradorite Necklace and when I put it on I started to feel this sadness that consumed me. I should tell you that I have been going through a rough situation and I wanted this stone for protection. Is it normal for this stone to initially feel this way? I woke up this morning feeling a bit better but I thought I would reach out and ask if anyone else has experienced this or have knowledge of why this is happening? Thank you.

Sometimes a crystal can bring up issues for healing and you may feel worse before you start working on the issues to feel better. Nevertheless, if the sad feeling does not lift you can try cleansing it and if that doesn't work either, just put it away for a while.

Agreed. It kinda sounds like it is doing exactly what you asked it to. That it is releasing your sadness through you so you will feel safer, rather than try and shield you away from the world you wish to enjoy :happy8:

I've not seen it happen with Labradorite, but seen it with others, in particular, rainbow obsidian. My first thought is its bringing the root of the problem more to the surface.

Sometimes a stone can stir in the mud so to speak. Usually we want to steer clear of emotional trouble and things that hurt us in the past but a stone can help you by bringing it forward nonetheless so it can be processed.
Maybe when your labradorite does this for you it may be confronting and best to use it in small dosages by not wearing it all the time. But looking directly into what bothers you the most can also be cathartic and healing.

It makes sense as it does tie into that inner self and that will awaken emotion and deeper rooted issues. Many times this stone is carved into a "tear drop" shape in jewelry. Its digging deep into something maybe even to the Soul level.

It saddens me that this stone is not working out how you want ! :icon_frown: It's a really spectacular stone and at certain days of the week it's my favorite stone ( depends what mood I'm in )

I have a large chunk of it on my kitchen counter ( the piece in my avatar ) and I'm planning on getting all the countertops made of Labradorite once I renovate my kitchen ( the wife has already agreed ) It always makes me happy when I look at it, but hey, everyone has different chemistry, and maybe it's different if you wear it. Heck I'm not very sensitive to crystal vibrations so I wouldn't notice anyway. :icon_frown:

Yeah the stuff comes from my neck of the woods. I lived back east for awhile but never saw any of the stuff. I had to buy my chunk from China...LOL ! :biggrin: ( Doesn't come from China but the seller is from China )

P.S I have heard that Labradorite and Tiger Eye can enhance creative process and imagination. ( good for artists ??? )

I had a similar experience with my labradorite love-shape palm stone. My car tyre even exploded when i placed it together with selenite on the day i brought it home. Go to youtube and find Lourdes' reik crystals videos, it helped me to be aligned with my labradorite. Now i can feel it's high energy on my palm.

Oh ya, you wanna check her videos to activate habd and feet chakras. Works wonders.
