Clairaudience how to hear my guides
 

How can I best hear my guardian angel or spirit guide talking to me?
I sometimes hear my name being called out loud.
But I read that clairaudience is not always about hearing out loud.
I guess that's a good thing because it would be very distracting to life if I always heard them speak.

One person with such a gift told me that God never stops talking.
I don't know if that's true, because I also heard that God is silence.

What practices do you recommend to be able to hear my guides speak?
And what protection from negative influences should I garner?
Because sometimes voices have told me to do bad things.
But also voices have saved me from terrible things.
So it's hit or miss. I still have to use my judgment.

The one you call 'guardian angel' can not be heard in any conventional sense and neither does clairaudience apply. Communication comes about during sleep-time visits to the etheric dimensions and/or telepathically at other times as needed.

The 'talking' by God you are wondering about doesn't happen using words you can hear in a conventional sense. If you do hear voices 'in your head' or 'in your mind' most likely they will be those of discarnates (spirits) close by. Some may come to offer help but others may be mischief makers. Personal judgment is essential - trust implicitly only those who have shown themselves trustworthy in many other matters.
