Enter the unmanifest?

Hi all I am on a spiritual quest to enter the unmanifest. I have my own beliefs and thoughts on this. What I am wanting to see is if there is way to enter the unmanifest while still at least being in a non-meditative state. Eg while being in maybe a light meditative state but still focused and then just making a leap of faith in the unmanifest. In theory at least it might take maybe few months to tops a few years to do.

Any help would be great thanks.
Thanks.

If by the unmanifest you mean the Void, the Absolute, the Root from which emanated the universe we live in then I came across two cases. Unfortunately I am not allowed to post links yet. Google Alex Paterson.

Quote:

The experience was terrifying to me as a child because the VOID had no actual form and as such was empty, yet paradoxically it was so big as to be infinite (even though I couldn't conceptualise infinite at the time), hence my perception that it was HUGE. But perhaps more disturbing to me as a child was that IT could not be defined in any terms of this reality, even to the extent that it had no actual presence even though I was intimately aware of it. (a paradox) Thus there was no sound, no sight, no taste, no smell, no feel and no emotion about it, yet somehow I was fully aware of it.

I had a sense it was pure AWARENESS devoid of EXPERIENCE and as such, just IS.

Because the VOID had no form or substance or presence and was everywhere yet nowhere, there was nowhere for me as a child to hide from it, which was why I was so terrified of it. I might add IT never did anything to harm me; it just was. I had a reoccurrence of this experience many years later as a young adult.

As I had a computer virus, I lost all data so that I cannot give you info on the other experience. Should I find it again I will post it.

Thanks for that, good to see that I got a reply.

You might like "Conscious Union with God" by Joel S. Goldsmith.
Also"Practicing the Presence " by him.

I was "in" the Void, the Night before creation, the Night of Brahma - I have no desire to return - "I" was alone - absolutely in pure aloneness - the only 'thing' - just pure consciousness - I like it here better.

I saw the Thousand Pettled-Lotus Flower - it sure was
cool - but been there, done that.

This steady progress that "I" am making means alot more - finding
the Kingdom, the Magic Kingdom here.

Thats just "me".

I always risk being told off for saying this but, quote, "the unmanifest" is no part of this Spiritualism forum.

Such topics belong in a different forum, perhaps 'Spiritual Development' under the "Spirituality & Beliefs" umbrella....

Spiritualism (more accurately Modern Spiritualism) - under the 'Religions and Faiths' umbrella - is a specific philosophy and in the UK is a registered and legally recognised religion.

I hope this helps? :hug3:

I have only managed this once and I had to die in a dream to get there. Very profound experience, exactly as described in your quote. I don't think you really need to go there more than once, its really not something you forget and you really can't DO anything there.....

Sometimes the dividing line between topics is vague, especially for 'newbies.'
Do we get fined? You posted the same comment twice which to me means it must really bother you in which case I apologize for commenting.
I wonder: are you a moderator? If so, you should be able to move the thread. If not, you could ask one to do it for you?

Apology not needed but thank you for your consideration. :hug3:

Anyone new might end up posting in an inappropriate thread but experienced members know the differences.

Yes it does bother me when members do not "....respect other members and their beliefs, opinions, and views at all times." as the website rules ask.

Yes i have journeyed there and it was awesome. Journeying is not meditation, it is a state between sleep and awake and in that state you remember things well.
The practice uses a drumming CD and it has a callback feature so any fear of not returning is eliminated.
I can share my journey notes with you if you would like.
Let me know................
James
