I want a serious guy, looking for the love of his life for the rest of his life too!
He is handsome, sweet and charming, but stern when it is very appropriate too.
He is a very sober but laid back person. He is very law abiding, and balances life, political views, and play very well. He loves cats. He is very intellectual, and a thinker, and is very well read. He gets along well with his mother. He has chosen not to have children, and he is very pacifist. He has good boundaries and isn't into partying for fun. He wants quality of life for the rest of his life and he is well educated..:D

I don't know what he is like, I look forward to learning. I what I know is that his energy complements mine; a a very fundamental level, next to each other we are both stronger.

I expect there is a solid sense of self, patience w life and people, a sense of wonder and - humor. Probably a sense of order, too.

A clever mind, in which ever way it manifests. Care and self-care.

Awareness that failure and flaws are the human condition, as well as beauty and art (including the build of people).

Reminds me when I forget - and can take a reminder - of divinity. And the precious art of the most mundane.

I think I've met him. As a relationship it's easy going, nothing intense, no great romancing, we agree on many things, disagree on others with good grace. He's no world-class looker but is usually smart - one of few guys Ive met who looks smart in casuals. He's probably closer to being spiritually inspired than he thinks but tends to dismiss my beliefs and efforts. Agnostic, I'd say of him but his higher principles align with mine - a powerful regard for honesty/sincerity. We aren't under each others' feet, respect each others' spaces. Neither tries to control the other but negotiate arrangements; do few things together: photography for instance; art shows, concerts. There's been no test yet of me needing his support nor him, mine. I admire his work as an architectural modeller; he's a bit mystified by mine and my lack of materialism but sees me as thrifty. From the past I know that if we had too many things in common it would die quickly. We haven't.

Whether it would work long-term with us living together I don't know. We'd need a big enough place to (as it were) live alone under the same roof as far as working and home entertainment go.

A reflection of self, what I would like to emanate, and to get there, it will take some learning.

Your perfect mate, sounds like a man, I am currently seeing, though he is with child. I don't see myself having children either, but it does not mean I don't want a family, a marriage of sorts, a union/partnership - a non blood family, to join a family, ect ect.

A Healthy Balance of our own values and beliefs. Strength in all ways. Sense of adventure. Ups and downs, to give us growth, together or separate.

Having healthy space. Right now, I don't have that health, and I don't know if what I have found will last because of it. One day, it would be nice to have someone to feel safe with, that they could be there for me, and not always be needed. & to know they had it in return.

So many area's I cannot even express right now.

Open to adventure and also calm simplicity. Polyamorous and healthy in her mind and body. Spiritual connected and must follow God

I don't know if I should do this. LOL

Spiritual, mysterious, knowledgeable and above all, fully controlled.
Knows shamanic energy work and can put me in touch with my own energies and move them around at will.
Is loving, kind and can see beyond the physical...knows what buttons to press to put me into an altered state.
Not too many of those guys around...

A man who makes me fall in love with him everyday.
A man who makes me feel so loved and adored.
A man who makes me feel so lucky whenever I am with him.
A man who makes me feel like a woman in his presence
A man who makes me feel safe to be myself with him.
A man who makes me want him.

After reading some of others' replies, definitely Monogamous minded man. - NOT poly whatever.

Ok...Here's mine, if I had to put it to words.

Consciously present...consciously engaged, walking his path, carrying his own.
Consciously supporting himself and his beloved others on their paths.
Being and doing from centre in authentic love (i.e., with lovingkindness and equanimity) for others equally to self.

In other words, the art of being authentically human, with awareness and love.
What else needs to be said? This is all I myself strive to do and be in each moment.

Along the way, we find we are becoming ever more open-hearted, strong, and wise. And ever more appreciative of the wonder and beauty and truth and goodness, of who we are and of all that is. Of ourselves and of one another.

And yet, how difficult might we say this still is, at this point in our collective human journey?
