celebrating the great commonality

Here on these pages, and often elwewhere, it seems fair to say that we tend to focus upon presenting our various interpretations--personal or shared--of what it means to be alive and how that experience could be improved if we do/ do not do, this , that , or the other.

In maintaining that focus for whatever reason--whether with well meaning intent in order to be of assisatnce to others, or for the purpose of achieving some personal ambition--are we inevitably losing sight of (and so not able to celebrate ) the experiencing of the great existing commonality of simply being alive with all else living at the same time on the same planet--or beyond ?

We lose sight of simple pleasures and love. That is true.

We're all in this together.

In the silence, I feel your love; something you have been protecting.
Soon your cocoon will open for all of us to see.
Behold the New Day.

Namaste.

Today you revealed yourself
as one of many
who look just like me.

Hi. That is all.

Hello.

With reference to "silence"--in connection with BigJohns earlier post.

Have been reading the journals of Dorothy Wordsworth, sister to poet William and friend of fellow poet ST Coleridge

On Friday 23 April 1802 the three decide to walk to visit Nab Scar, in the British Lake District.

William sat looking up at the Scar, whilst Dorothy and Coleridge walked on, she writes:--

---"We left William sitting upon the stones--feasting with silence"--

Waiting for the moment,
I asked myself
"It is broken"
only to say
"It is not".

Suspended in space and time
those 2 sentences continued to repeat
.... over and over
for about 10-12 times
as I stood, without moving,
over the innocent ground.

And then my innocence
broke the questions
as I grasped the moment
as I reached the ground
and rolled to a stop.

Then another adventure
within so many other adventures
began.

Looking through the lens of loving
I AM sees ALL IS
Then with acts of loving
Steps through the lens.
