I'm Scared! Are Spirit Guides actually demons??
 

I've been trying to contact my spirit guide but only have gotten small progress bit by bit. I got the name Stephen and little happenings.

BUT i read online recently that spirit guides are actually demons in disguise?! And now i want to stop communicating with my spirit guide completely?
I want to stop now before i get into it because i don't want to allow a demon or bad spirit in. :confused: :confused: :confused:

It all goes by your own perception. Personally, I don't believe in demons. I believe there are negative energies and entities, but then again, I feel it ties to polarity..

Considering that you're freaking out about your guide being a demon, I'm assuming you believe in demons. Well, then you're going to either get someone who says: "That's a load of ****" (which is what I feel..) or you're going to get someone who says "YES! They're demons!"

It all boils down to your judgment, though. We can sit here and tell you that spirit guides are NOT demons, but now that you've (unfortunately) read about that theory, you'll probably keep thinking about it every time you attempt to make contact. So it's up to you decide. Do YOU really think Stephen is a demon? Do you have a reason to believe that he's one? Are you seriously going to believe what you read on the internet?

If you're so concerned about it, ask for guidance from other sources. Ask your higher self instead. Ask angels. Ask the Creator/Source/whatever higher power you believe in. Or, you can simply ask whether your guide/Stephen is of the Christ consciousness (doesn't necessarily mean that this consciousness belongs to Christ.. it's just a name for that high, loving consciousness) and that you only want to speak to guides or angels from this consciousness - or from higher, loving realms.

It's all up to you. My advice, though, would to stop freaking out about it, mainly because there's a chance you'll draw negative energy to you. Just remember that you're in control of your space.

Well I have never encountered a demon..As I don't believe on them. It's really that simple.

Spirit guides love and guide you unconditionally. They want the best for you and from mine all I get is love and guidance and the odd boot up the backside..lol.

i believe demons are creations by humans out of negative energies - negative entities if you will - just stronger ones. similar to what evaah said.

guides are completely different imo and e.

Casper I'd be willing to bet that the author of that particular bit of information is a Christian. If this person is then you should not devote any more your time and energy to his writings, or teachings, whatever you want to call it.

I say this because it is well documented that Christians will cry out devils and demons at the mention of any spiritual practice other then their own and that they don't understand or know anything about, it's true.

Believe me Casper, if it were that negative an energy, you sure would have known about it earlier. Why are you taking someone else's word as God's law rather than trusting your own intuition/higher self?

Never run into a demonic entity myself but have come across some pretty dark ones that can harm you. I can say that Spirit Guides are not demons in disguise. read the couple links I posted, look around the forum for information on them also, it's everywhere. Everything is going to be fine. :angel10:

Poor Stephen, i'm giving him a hard time...i'd be making progress then every month or 2 i have a lil panic attack and consider cutting off contact. :redface:

@45Uberti I actually think he was. I actually have found that too with extreme Christians... i don't like it!
I'm christian but i'm a lot more open minded. I believe in God and our prophet but you can have that belief and still accept that spirituality can exist along side them too. I don't like it when those sort of Christian try to scare people. They have no proof to dismiss spirituality, just empty words to impose fear. :icon_frown:

And thats exactly what it is Casper, fear. The church instills it's members with fear. Why? Because if they live in fear that anything other than church's way is evil and darkness, then they'll stay with the church, perhaps even tithe some of their income on Sunday. Get it?

I saw for myself what i know because I was a Christian for over a year, I devoted a lot of time and energy to the church learning their beliefs, doctrine and internal workings before abandoning the church completely and opening my mind to new ideas and seeing organized religion for what it really, truly is. Divisive, narrow-minded, fearful teachings and perhaps the most disgusting thing about the church is the wide-spread teaching and belief that a place exists where you will suffer and are tortured (hell) for all eternity just for not 'believing' in their religious icon. Let me state though that the above are not relevant only to Christianity, but many of the worlds main-stream religions are like this too.

There are places in the world where you will be burned alive, tortured or brutally executed for mentioning or practicing ideas commonly found throughout this forum. They call it "witchcraft". People fear what they don't understand, it is not witchcraft or anything evil unless you make it to be, I suppose.

I'm happy that you are more open minded to other spiritual arts and practices. There are many ideas, concepts, arts, practices and beliefs to discover. Just read with an open mind and follow your heart! Don't let the church cover your eyes and close doors for you, there's much to discover and mainstream religion doesn't even scratch the surface. I would recommend you not speak of the things you've been reading on this forum to your church because they will not understand, they will judge and condemn you and cry demons and devils.

I'm just telling it like it is.
