Editing Time Zones

I don't know how to ask this but everytime I post or reply the time that I post are off . Am I using the wrong time zones ? US/Canada/Mexico CT It's 7:32 am right now .

At least it has the correct time when I posted it. Some of my post the times have been at 12:00 am. I this is embarrassing and probably a silly question.
