Art is everywere
 

I think art is the way we look at things and not the way things look to us.

Isn't 'the way we look at things' exactly the same as 'the way things look to us'? :confused:

I think Linda means perception.

And maybe beauty might be a broader definition than 'art'.

The more spiritually aware we become, so our senses heighten and thus we see beauty and wonderment in a myriad of places. Places we might previously have overlooked.

Going back to the art theme. The world is God's canvas. He has painted many masterpieces!

art often is 'the light' we all share touching a thing we create or see

which makes it stand out big and yes it can be anything

its the love and light that makes it happen , not our thoughts or ideas

Art everywhere...yes...I have always thought that, too.
Like Andy Warhol seeing art in a soup can...he helped us 'see'.
I have often felt the only thing that mattered was art, ha!

You have heard of men that have had a painting stolen from a museum?
They placed it in like a velvet room with perfect lighting and one chair
for him to sit... alone in front of it.
I know his feeling....one piece...alone with it.

It is in our nature to be and to appreciate art...because we have God in us and nothing
can be more beautiful than nature itself...the mountains and streams and sunsets, mist, the animals,
us and dew on a petal in the morning sunlight...
That's why it is called nature...it is God's Nature to be the Artist on a blank canvas...all of creation...God's Nature.

I think art should not be a bunch of garbage bins laying on top of one another, like modern art it. Art is something that makes you feel good when you see it, and not someone's vision. If someone see a beauty is old rusted cans, well, I don't, and I don't thing there should be a whole ART made out of ugly things.

Art is the way we see, feel an know the world!
