What does it mean when you hear your name
 

I was at work no one was around and i heard a woman voice say my name twice i want to know what it means

A few guesses on my part would be , a ghost that knows you , you imageioned the voice , some on an inter con , the n.s.a. playing with you .

So your name is and probably want a contact.:cool:

This happened to me several times.

Once I heard my name called early in the morning, half a sleep. I jump out of bed to see who is outside and realized I was late getting up.

It was always to alert me. And it is the one we could call the guardian, the one that is mistakenly called the guarding angel but in fact is part of our Self. (unless oneself is angelic)

It usually means the same as when a living person calls your name. Pay attention to where you are and what you're doing when it happens. Also how you feel at the time is helpful information.

As a Medium I have come used to hearing my name called. Its an odd sensation its a clear "Lynn" I hear like its being called out from across the room so I turn to look around. Other times I will be in my house with the family home and I will call out "what do you want" to the kids, and they are like we said nothing. Or I hear "Mom" and I will go what ??? to have no one have called me.

At times its just that those in Spirit can sense your energy and that is curious to them like they are to us. They try for that common communicators they were used to in life.

I remember the family church I was raised in and the Father there telling me to hear my name called as an "evil thing" and that I needed to not pay attentions to it at all. It was not a good thing. Too I think that much of what he said to me was to keep me quiet about what I truly saw and heard.
