Dogs often make us go for walks at a faster speed than we would like....so yes I suppose they do boss us! Also they like to remind us when it's dinner time, and time to get up in the morning. Who needs a clock?

I agree with you about cats....they wouldn't mind at all if we slept on the floor and gave them our beds. Then when they had pushed us out of bed they would lie on top of our bellies and knead us with spiky claws!

Mind you....I had a dog who liked to stretch out all over the bed so there was hardly any room for me!

I've got a big shepherd husky. I was planning to adopt this other one that came to a shelter but someone adopted him before I got there. Got lots of cats but they have the porch and the cat enclosure that is outside...made a tunnel for them to come and go from the porch to the enclosure. lol.

I saw something really sad the other day and it still bothers me...I was driving to my favorite place to run and noticed (this was xmas eve) that there was a purple and pink dog bed with purple and pink dog toys in it laying in a field. I thought it odd and it troubled me...then Yesterday I was driving there and saw a big sign by the road in front of the house that is across from the field where the dog bed was and the sign said "Please return our dog!" . My heart just broke. I thought someone must have broke into the house while they were away and stole the dog. :-( and to make it worse, placed the dog's bed and toys in the field. People can be so cruel and heartless. I hope the dog is okay. :-(
