Why God and the "I" are different.
So I have finally settled the argument between God and the Universal I in my own mind. I have accepted the inner "I" and am glad that I AM.
However it is not over. My understanding is that although there is a Universal "I" and an inner "I" it is still a different matter to God. The Universal "I" is consciousness itself (apparently) and is in deep bliss and cosmic union. My understanding is that God is a higher power than the Universal "I". God is not just consciousness itself but is rather CONSCIENTIOUSNESS itself. God is pure, unmitigated CONSCIENCE. He is morally and truthfully PURE. Consciousness may well be love. But CONSCIENCE is greater LOVE. I have felt the touch of this pure conscience and it is very different from the touch of universal "I". The fact that God is pure conscience allows for greater reality than just I AM or pure consciousness. |

I see what you mean but there is a lot of injustice in the world, I'm not disagreeing however. The rules written by God are - like it or not the rules. Perhaps it's like a computer programme whereby if you change it at all, it can have devastating consequences. The injustices maybe part of the way the whole thing works overall - take them away & existence collapses. Whatever God said would be truth & I honestly believe that if you were to meet him - you understand all of the intricacies. Much like a president has responsibilities that we can't really grasp - God's would be indescribable. That's why I think it's important to love & admire whatever God is & to honour it by doing good as best as you can. . |

It matters what you think with term God. Whether an initial strength or a creature. |

Well, put it this way - Christ was a person. God PERSONIFIED. |

I have tried to tell you this before, but you needed to find out in your own time and way and I'm delighted for you. God is everything, including what "I AM" (on a deep, soul-level) but it's not just limited to that...no way! Thus, I still love and worship God as being everything I am not, including everything that I am and it's only the mind that gets confused by this...not the heart. I realised there was a reason for God's existence beyond mere atheistic solipsism. |
