Affirmations for others
 

I'm wondering if affirmations work on other people as well.

For instance if I were to affirm a certain truth about somebody else, would that negative energy eventually make it so? Or would that depend entirely on the other person? Or maybe it's somewhere in between? If that's the case, then how much of my affirmations energy take hold versus theirs?

Affirmations are pretty straight forward and easy to understand when applied to yourself. However, things seem to get real complex when applied to other people.

No, they won't unless you're affirming that by interaction, you'll be able to re-focus/change someone else's behaviour and/or efforts.

You can't control others at all. Only your perception of them.

But keep in mind while another cannot control you, you give them power to manifest their beliefs in your life. Most successful people say to keep your plans to yourself. I personally believe it's to stop all the nay Sayers from juicing up the wrong outcome for you. I normally only like to tell anyone anything if i know that person will be accepting and positive With me otherwise I stay silent.

I will also correct friends and reword things they have said as affirmations for themselves, almost push them to manifest for themselves in a more positive light. The ones who aren't receptive I will do a short visualization of a positive outcome and then keep it moving.
