I seen a shiny ball going fast into the room at night in my room
 

So it is dark here in the UK at almost 11pm.

I just seen in the darkness of my room something shiny which looked like a ball go past very past in the darkness of my room, it was very shiny.

What could this be?

It could be a spirit as they can often show as what we call "orbs:" or balls of light. They show up in at times total darkness.

You could have had a visitor looking in. If you did not feel fear around this event then I would say is a nice experiene.

I saw the same thing last December, mine was floating above the stairs for a few seconds then disappeared in to the wall.
It was a white ball of light and I watched it a few feet from me for about 4 seconds.

That pretty common name orbs very rare to see with naked eye cause there frequency is high fast moving

I looked at the orb in my house for about 4 seconds, it just stayed still before going into a wall and vanishing. I was wondering what would have happened if I wasn't so surprised and spoke to it.
I hope it happens again so I can find out.

Did it touch anything? If so, if there’s no damage, we can rule out ball lightning. I’ve seen one of these orbs once. No damage on the surfaces it passed through, so ball lightning was out. Flew across a room at such incredible speed, it left an afterimage like a camera’s flash. That was the first supernatural experience I had, and it shook everything I thought I knew.

Just so you know though, these orbs are usually harmless. The spirit that showed itself in this form may just be passing, so you might not even see it again. Watch out for any more attempts at contact, and in the unlikely event of hostility, folks on this forum will be happy to help.

It hit the wall after a few seconds, then it spread out and vanished, but no damage to the wall or wallpaper.
Like you said in your post, it also shook everything I thought I knew.
I'm annoyed with myself now for just standing still staring at it.

i don't think they can hear your spoken words no 3 dimensional hearing it more likely telepathy so you really have to speak to it in your mind

Im sure that was UFO in 4d mode, but they forgot to turn off headlights.
