Crystals for the new year
 

After taking down the Christmas decorations and giving the house a spring clean, I've cleansed my crystals and placed certain ones in a prominent place to welcome positivity for this new year. I tend to pick my crystals out instinctively, depending on what I need at the time, and these are the ones I've chosen:

Amethyst (which is "my favourite" and always at my bedside regardless)
Citrine
Carnelian
Selenite
Blue lace agate
Lemon chrysoprase

Does anyone else do this in the new year, or at the change of seasons (i.e. solstice, equinox, etc.)? I would love to hear what crystals you choose and what your cleansing/re-energising rituals are :)

Gosh mine change all the time, whenever I feel the need to.

Cleansing and re-energising wise I use a singing bowl and then give a blast in the sun.

Then some I might leave all day in sun others in moon, a few ill run under water. I try to put them all out for a full moon.

I only change certain crystals when I feel I need those more than the ones that are already downstairs.
But there's always lots in my living room. Too lazy to count them right now, but I guestimate 70+ crystals. More likely 100+
The rest is upstairs.
I do not change for seasons, only change when I feel I need (a) different crystal(s).

Cleansing.. not often. They seem to cleanse themselves / one another. Prolly cos I got so many, and lots of high vibrational crystals.

Cleansing is putting them in water for approx a day. And bathing in full moon light. Not all of them, I intuitively choose which ones need the full moon light. Simply cos I got too many crystals. I cannot put them all in the window.

New years Eve was the only time I bought new stones purposely for the new year. I got my first piece of clear quartz (yes yes im a newbie) and sunstone, and an amethyst bracelet :) I cleanse when I feel like they need it, Usually under a full moon or in the window with the breeze coming in on them. Sometimes I take bathes with them to re-energize and always keep a couple in my pocket when im at work, Helps stay grounded during the day
