So okay apologies - Faeries
Sooo I'm a new guy on here. I actually just joined up because I stumbled across some Faerie stuff on here during a Google search. I'm not too comfortable with this whole thing.
BUT! I know Faeries when I see em.
Lived with them since I was very young.I miss them when they are not around. I have never really had anyone to talk to about this kind of stuff. Other stuff yes.But not this Faerie stuff.
I was hoping there would be like minded people on this site. Those old enough to no longer care about being embarrassed but young enough to see the beauty of it all. All the threads here seem to be old.
Help me out here. Lets have a serious discussion about a light and joyful subject.
Tell us about your Faeries.
Lets all be kids again for chrissakes.
I have Fae and other spirits in my life but I suppose my interactions with them is more serious compared to what you're asking here.
We have a house fairy who has moved with us. However beside that one, my children have all seen them, and we give an offering each day. Generally we tend to leave them alone and obey the very strict rules of ettiequte that surround's them. Having a nan who was Irish we have a respectful mythological / folklore attitude to them. Stay out of rings and forts, do not eat their food, etc. If you wish to work with them only evoke those of kind and gentle nature. Stay away from the Wild Hunt.
Well, I can't say I have ever seen a fairy, but I keep a little part of me tucked away that believes in them anyway. I gave up believing in too many things as I "grew" up. I have decided that as long as I don't try to tell my boss that I was late for work because the fairies were getting in my way, I can allow myself that little bit of magic. Santa has a spot set aside in that part of my mind as well. This part of me is not that hard to maintain. I just don't bother to tell myself the reasons I should not believe, and I don't ever ask for any proof, so that part gets along with the rest of my mind just fine. Besides, somewhere in one of the multiple dimensions on one of the many worlds in the multiverse, there are bound to be fairies somewhere, right?, its math.
Here is something that always reminds me why it is important to believe in such things, even if you never see or interact with them yourself.
Now, lets hear more about these fairies.
