Was ascension a thing 50 years ago?
 

In other words, were people ascending 50 years ago? Just curious.

Ascension was a thing 6,000-plus years ago when man tried to be just like the gods and make himself worthy enough to take his rightful place at the gods' sides. The irony is that Spiritual people have completely forgotten the cornerstones of Spirituality so they can think they're ascending - even the word itself makes no sense.

Yes, it was...but back then, it was called transcendence and not ascendence... semantics, I know....
