Will my guilty make his transition/afterdeath difficult?
 

Someone closer to me just passed away, although i know there is no death , there is only transition, but i still feel guilty , hurt, and sad.
I suffered a lot while he was here when was young,he was abusive and violent, but in his later days he changed , he became like a child. But taking care of him still v uneasy, sometimes i said to my heart that he better die early.
Now he is really gone, i feel guilty .
A friend tried to comfort me, saying his soul is ascending to a better plane now, with more light and i need to let go of guilty, since it will only make him more difficult to ascend.
Is that so?
