Casting boards.
 

A while ago I dreamt about a board that had the earths elements on it and the group of females I was with were all taking turns tossing crystals on this board. I got some information in the dream as to what it means if you land on certain elements.

Now, I never heard of anything like this in my waking life, so I did some research and learned about casting boards. They are said to be used long before runes were created. Back then they were associated with the elements and such. People would throw crystals on them for divination. Today, the few I found on line are associated with chakras and things like that.



Has anyone used one before? I might try to make my own, I don't know though.

It sounds like you could make your own casting board based on your dream.

I have a book titled "Crystal Power" by Michael Smith who mentioned casting quartz crystals on a circle casting board. He mentioned what crystals he used and how to interpret them plus a diagram of what his board looked like. His board has nothing to do with chakras. He used the cardinal directions, a couple of sections for 'yes' and 'no' and a bulls-eye.

I agree with WildHairedWoman that you can make your own customized casting board based on your dream. If you did make it, such a board would mean more at a personal level plus you'd put more of your energy into crafting it.

You can cast your crystals and stones, etc/ upon the ground or table. Cowrie shells are traditional and can be done this way.

Why don't anyone response to this good stuff?
