The Foremost Purpose Of Non-Physical TF Relationships

Is...

What did you find as the most highlighted purpose(s) in your non-physical (spiritual, telepathic, energetic...) union with your divine counterpart?

awakeningheart 08-10-2012 05:27 PM

To recognize and understand a purity of love that gives me an understanding of the divine.

Xan 08-10-2012 05:42 PM

The depth and pure passion of these unions is a subtle contagion, supporting heart openings in other unknown people in the world.

Self-discovery.

Jatd 08-10-2012 07:08 PM

Self discovery, self love and the over abundance of calm, love and peace I have in my heart.

H:O:R:A:C:E 08-10-2012 07:12 PM

I cannot remember; I am "stuck in the now", and NOW is very present in physicality for me. I am guessing that the purpose of "union with divine counterpart" is to be causal to creation.

BeautifulLife 08-10-2012 07:51 PM

Those that said self-discovery win. That is the entire point of them serving as a mirror. To show you your true self.

Element 5 09-10-2012 01:05 AM

I agree with self discovery being the answer. My question is however, at what point do we no longer need that person to aid in that self discovery. Is there never a point where we truly feel like the universe isn't pushing us toward them?

Xan 09-10-2012 01:22 AM

Self discovery, yes. And then..........?

Yes, exactly. Anyone? ____?

After "self-discovery" is accomplished...what is the purpose of the TF relationship?
I have made my guess.
Perhaps "healing" is an intermediary step.

sunflwrdanzr 09-10-2012 02:37 AM

I have to laugh because I was thinking this same thing today. I'm feeling like a ball of love, peace, calm, and I'm proud of how I've changed, evolved, grown, the choices I've made of late. I have really discovered and grown so much and become about me as numero uno for the first time ever, so sometimes I look at it all like "And now what?" LOL! I always joke, especially with him, that what if I end up waiting for him as an old cat lady because I just don't want to be with anyone else, settle? (Please know I mean humor here.) Sure, I think about and miss my tf all the time, but I know he's growing in his own separate way and it's needed and I have to let him do that. My growth I'm sure is important to us as one, but most important for me. Self. Period. I think the whole non-physical (spiritual, telepathic, energetic...) experiences are important to/for me as a reminder. Like that nudge to remind me it's still there and serves a higher purpose, that I'm part of something important, other worldly, and so special! I guess that I shouldn't say "And....."

I got the distinct impression we were living lives to raise consciousness. By raising the vibration around us we changed the earth, we changed the experience of life.

A wonderful post.
I want to highlight this thought: "I had the understanding that life is what my soul clamors for. That to be in the psychical [sic] was something to be honored and thankful for."
I am congruent with the idea of "simultaneity" in my experience.

Interesting read xan. Just not sure how thats a near death experience since it sounded more like the person just reached a state of meditation before their visions occured.

I personally don't care a farthing if it was "near death" related. (It was her personal exploration of 'what happens after death').
The tale doesn't give me much insight into twin-flames phenomema however.

Xan 09-10-2012 11:58 PM

Yes it's not an NDE. The story is labeled STE/SOBE- Spiritually Transforming Experience/Spontaneous Out of Body Experience.

Horace: The tale doesn't give me much insight into twin-flames phenomema however.

Yes... although it does give hints regarding what we are about after discovering the true Self, whether through twin flames or other ways.

Self-discovery isn't quite the main answer for me, although those kind of unions have to deal with it partially.
Most of us have agreed that before we 'reunite' and recognize our divine counterpart we have to be ready for it in terms of recognizing, individualizing and comprehension of ourselves first. And, it is very true that our counterpart helps us, better to say in confirming our true essence identity rather than in pure self-discovery, though they can reveal some of our identity features.

So, it's not just about that, it's always more. I think that they can show us where we stand spiritually and how much we are able to 'serve' humanity, what kind of 'capacity' do we have to make our service valid and god-given...And that is directly connected with raising consciousness on the planetary level.

But, the thing which is above all for me is that there is total respect, appreciation, equality, worship, gratitude and unlimited energy of organic love between man and woman. It is 'the place' in which all the 'differences' between them are mixing into one and then disappear...Just like a tiny soap bubble...Puff!

Dharma Employee 11-10-2012 02:10 PM

is to be drawn into both an illusion and something with a very powerful truth at the same time, that is my current understanding of the insanity of these experiences

sisi14 12-10-2012 12:42 PM

But do you think each of us ultimately must drop the illusion to move wholly (holy) into truth? Is there where we find unconditional love and the freedom that brings?

Xan 12-10-2012 02:52 PM

Dropping the illusion of isolation and fully knowing ourselves in truth is a gradual process. Deep soul connections may play a part in that.
