Kitchen and backyard?

I was downstairs in the kitchen at my Mothers house which was also my childhood home. The kitchen leads out to the backyard (which is small). The backdoor to the yard was wide open. There was a small poster on the wall in the yard about a book which I wrote called 'Emotional Abuse'. A man drove in through the back door and parked his car in our backyard. The vehicle almost filled the yard. He then went and started reading the poster. My mother went to see what he wanted. But she went out of the front of the house, all the way around to the back. Instead of just going out the back door. I couldn't quite figure out why she did this?!

Any ideas on this one, please? Thanks

there's a distinction between the "nature" and the "demeanor" of a person.
to enter the scene through the backdoor would be to approach the situation
according to "nature", where there's no pretenses and the mother figure
would be 'unguarded' or more vulnerable. engaging after exiting through the
front would allow the mother to utilize the bearing she uses to confront the
world at large... rather than to assume that the 'guest' was already trusted.

the whole scene appears to involve your 'higher self' identity arriving at your
location, to access the progress you've made during this lifetime. perhaps the
'special project' for your current self has involved what that poster spoke of.
in general, i see the male energies as representing the spiritual component
of a person, and the female energies as embodiments of the will aspect. for
that man to arrive via the backdoor is an oddity, in that spirit is generally
thought to arrive from "out there" someplace, and not from "within".

It could also mean that you feel your mother is not handling or dealing with things in the manner that you would. You would have gone right out into the back yard straight away and confronted him. She chooses otherwise, whether for appearances sake or another reason but she still gets there in a roundabout manner. Dreaming of your childhood home or dreams set in your childhood home often deal with past issues or reveal the roots of your present day thoughts and beliefs and how they came about. The writing was on the wall. It was clear that there was emotional abuse, everyone was aware of it, but everyone handled it differently and it was kept to the backyard, out of sight as if it didn't happen. The car is like the elephant in the room. It's there, but not addressed.

Thanks so much for your interpretations.

I think I have cracked it. The vehicle represents guilt which I have been holding onto and projecting onto my mother. I'm finding it in my heart to forgive myself and my mother. Thank you!
