Spiritual Forums - Memory of past? or Creative Imagination?

Thank you to anyone who reads.

For some time now, I have been focusing on my individual spiritual growth and more recenty something has been really pressing at me for understanding and finding possible answers....

Ever since I can remember and more specifically around the age of 7 yrs, I've had this ongoing story/plot in my head during waking hours and sometimes in my lucid dreams. It involves very vivid details of the environment, backstory/history of characters/plot, and complete color and sound like reliving a flashback. It's like I know the characters but I've never seen or met any of them or beings even like them. The majority involves beings associated with what we might describe as angels or hybrid angels maybe/ and/or demons, and dragons at times. It also has something to do with world destruction, but I don't really know details.

The older I get and more spiritually connected, the more vivid this is somehow in my mind. Over the years I either wrote it down on notebook after notebook hoping I'd just forget or tried to push it away. More recently after looking into several religious historical texts, I've found multiple relevant patterns with the characters and plot of this story or whatever in my head since childhood(details of which I was never exposed to).

At this point I'm just trying to keep an open mind and reach out to others and see if anyone else has had similar experiences. I would also like to maybe understand why I keep getting haunted by it. I honestly don't feel comfortable talking to just anyone about it, because to me it just seems really weird, so I'm hoping someone on this forum can shed some light on the matter.
