How far away am I from AP
 

I'm beginning to become conscious while I'm still asleep but only in the in-between area around hours 6-7-8 where the sleep is very light.

I hear that becoming conscious while asleep is very similar to astral projection and if a person can do one then they can do the other quite easily. Does anybody have any useful information on my situation or the subject?

In Astral projection in half sleep mode or, meditation moe in both modes you push your self to area you travelle earlier with new journey experiences.
This is my opinion only though this is not my subject.
