Maybe its different for everyone? I see god in people and all trees and flowers, animals, wind, sun, rain, air, when I close my eyes I feel it or god or force or energy, whatever you call it. It's everywhere. Light flecks from the corner of my eye when I speak a truth. Where do you look for it?

I second charliesap, that is exactly how I experience it. That life force within everything.

Charliesap and figaromelting gave very satisfactory statements about their own concept of GOD..

Their concept of GOD amounts to everything, the force of life in everything..

Most importantly, we must realise that each and everyone of us is a different incarnation of the great unified life of everything..

You may wish to call that unity GOD..

You must seek that GOD deep inside your soul..

However, we must realise that most people are used to their own preconceived concepts when they use the word GOD..

then....If thine eye be single thy whole body will be full of light...
Try focusing at the 'single eye' or 3rd Eye area....within yourself.
That's where any of us can actually see God...it's a guarantee...
it's not figurative, it's not metaphorical...it is a fact.

And, also, this is my personal experience, regardless of being backed up by
a scripture....actually many.

There are two ways, one difficult, the other easier but takes a bit of time.

1. Difficult: practice until your meditation skills are good enough to get into a state of Pure Consciousness (please look it up) for long enough to enter the temples of the mind and just see and hear. Be a receptacle to stimuli without thinking about them. God will eventually appear - but don't accept everything at face value. Ponder your visions / auditions outside that state.

3. Easier: Buy a mirror and look long and deep until you realise god.
