Belief of a repeated experience.

Scientifically, deja vu is a 'hiccup' in our memory store. There are studies on it. One of the most recent is false memory, the brain checks the memory store to link the situation to anything that may have similarities to past events.
Another is, the sensory experience and the processing of the event get slightly out of sync, thus what we subconsciously experience via our senses feels as though we have experienced it before as the experience feeds into the memory.

Spiritually, we may put it down to precognition, a past life experience or a loop in the time/space continuum.

I love the sensation of de ja vu. It is truly magical.

I'm wondering if the magical feeling is heightened because for one nanosecond we are truly out of body and experiencing the outside world completely. It's possibly the nearest to a shut down of Ego that there is. We are not focussed on ourselves but something else. Does anyone have any further thoughts on this?

I remember someone sent me an article about the scientific explaination about the subject, just for some alternative view. They said that it is some kind of trigger of the wrong area of the brain to produce the illusion that you've been to a place before whereas you haven't. This, I mean, not counting memories in this life as in ordinary memories.

Now see where this leads to, although the exact source where she found those articles, I might have to ask her again.

I walk into one, every now and then, and its difficult to figure out what really happends, but the r fun to me, just saying woww and all.
Sometimes it a reoccurring thing i did, or sometimes a new place seemingly to be familiar with, there is alot of essence that goes with it to recall us to such thing
