the experience of light and lucid dream

My name is François. I'm a new member. I'm interested in lucid dreams. I've noticed many years ago that when I empty my mind when I go to bed, and direct my attention toward the sky I kind of feel a beam of light that enters my head and sometimes my shoulder and torso. It's a very appeasing light, and it maked my dreams more vivid. I often dream of a river and a moutain when I feel relaxed, serene. I have regular dreams of natural scenes, mostly during winter time. I'm sure some of you guys have lived that experience before, since you're interested in that topic to begin with. My main question is: am I deluding myself? Is that light real? If so, where does it come from? Is there an intention behind that light? How come I seem to be the only one to feel it? Thank you for your time. I hope to hear from you. Have a nice day.
