my subscribed threads doesn't update and I don't receive emails?
 

Hiya, it's been like this since i joined but I decided I wasn't bothered, well now I decided I am :P haha
my subscribed threads doesn't update and I don't receive emails to my registered hotmail and it is the correct email address.

Any ideas why this could be happening and how I'd get this fixed? :S

Sounds odd to me - let's make sure we're on the same page. You're talking about subscribed threads where you get an update email everytime a new post is made to the thread - not just threads where you've made posts? Because there is a difference - you can subscribe to a thread and never post in it.

I just want to make sure we're talking apples and apples :)

um well basically the threads i have posted on but i also have no subscribed threads on my user CP aswell as coming through to my email, even though I have posted on a few topics now.

Basically my account lets me do everything except for receive emails to my hotmail from SF and notify me in my user CP of new posts on my subscribed threads if you get me?

Have you enabled subscribed thread notifications under your options?


When you subscribe to a thread, are you doing it through Thread Tools?


Is your Hotmail putting the emails in your junk folder?



Remembering of course, that just because you post in a thread, does not mean you're subscribed to it.
