My dad used to do that on a few rare occasions and I could sense him, could 'almost' see him it felt so darned real and I 'know' it was him.
He also used to visit in dreams, on rare occasions too.

I lost my Mum to Alzhiemers and worked for years in a Nursing Home with people suffering from this horrible disease. The best thing to do with your Mum is just listen to what she say's and if her demands are not going to physically hurt her agree with everything she tells you.
If you agree with what she says then she will be less agitated and this is a good thing...

What a wonderful visit from your Dad!

My father in law is Like your Mom with him asking for my deceased mother in law. He is in a dementia care facility. We learned to change the subject or tell him she's fine, not here, somewhere else. It's very difficult. I can see why you would not want to tell her about your Dad's visits. :hug:

oh wow. i wish i could see my grandparents. they hardy come into my dreams. i think ive never seen my grandad in my dreams and he was a very good hig quality educated soul. however. the other day i asked my grandma to come into my dream and she did she was young in a dream and beautifull.
