The 7th taste
 

I write this in the spirituality subform because I believe it belongs here. What I will write now has a certain secret code that maybe not all understand - it depends how spiritual awake you are.

What I will write about is the 7th taste.

Five of the tastes are well known - saltiness, sourness, sweetness, bitterness and savoriness (Unami). In addition to those they claim that fat is a taste.

But in my opinion there is a 7th taste - and that is evil.

What tastes evil you wonder?

The answer is blood.

Actually I doubt this. Blood is the elixir of life. Why should it taste evil?

If that is what you believe, than that's how it is for you. I know only of four.

Studies of the Sami languages of Norway, Sweden and Finland, conclude that the languages have anywhere from 180 snow- and ice-related words and as many as 300 different words for types of snow, tracks in snow, and conditions of the use of snow. (per wikipedia)

According to medical science the tongue is the organ responsible for our sense of taste,
and there are only four types of taste, that is according to medical science. When you
say “they claim that fat is a taste,” who is this “they” you are referring to?

An how did you arrive at the conclusion that the taste of blood was “evil?” If you
would really like to awaken more, there is a fifth taste, it is a simply divine spiritual
taste. Many who have experienced it call it “divine nectar.”

You touch the tip of your tongue to the rear roof of your mouth, quiet your mind, and
put all of your attention where your tongue touches the roof of your mouth at the uvula.
Practice this technique for a number of minutes daily and over time you may have a
heavenly experience, a rich taste that is beyond this world. All of our senses,
including taste, go beyond this world.

I still believe that evil is the 7th taste.

But I was wrong when I said blood tastes like that.

Hell-o Beautiful Lady, I have only had the experience of nectar a couple of times,
and it is like a very clean and clear fountain of sweetness flowing through you,
seemingly at the back of your throat. As Rah nam said, like a "heavenly pool."
It is sort of like water but more precious than any water I've tasted here on Earth.:biggrin:
