anyone met their deceased pet?

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone during lucid dreaming decided to meet their deceased pet? I have lucid dreaming for years, but never think about seeing my beloved dog, riggs. I think about it awake, but get too selfish while lucid dreaming and bring in, um, my celebrity crush. Just wondering if anyone has met their pet? I wish I could remember it when it hapenns cuz my dog passed away 11 years ago, and I am still not over it. Thanks.

Yes, but I was not dreaming. I've met more than one deceased pet. The most memorable time was when I was vacuuming and I was just about at the bottom of the stairs. I happened to look up to the top of the stairs and there he was looking down at me, clear and solid as when he was alive. He was beautiful and looked healthy again with his usual shiny coat (he died of cancer). He turned and headed to our bedroom so I ran up the stairs and rushed into the bedroom.........he wasn't there but there was an indentation on the bed. I was so happy to see him and especially glad to see him looking so well.

I've also seen and heard my pet duck that I had for fifteen years, and my horse.

Hello

I have a Son that met several of my family pets. He was 2 at the time and could not sleep in his room for the "man" in there. When I finally clued in there was a "man" in his room, I understood why he did not care for his room.

He told me of sever animals that came with the "man" and they were family pets I had and the "man" had as a child. The man was me Dad and the pets were three dogs, a cat. I have seen the cat we had.

I was taking a nap soon after my cat, Pheobe, had passed. Probably 2 weeks or so. When she was alive she had this habit of kneading her claws into my head and hair and purring into my ear. So, I was napping when all of a sudden i heard this loud purr that absolutely tickled my ear, I felt her paws in my hair, without the sharpness. I was lucidly dreaming at this point and was aware that if I woke I wouldnt be able to have this experience for as long. I felt her lying on my belly while I petted the soft fur of her back. Tears rolled down my temples and into my ears. It was the only experience I can ever truly recount as having been a phenomena, due to the physical sensations I had when dreaming. It was so amazingly beautiful. The most loving way that anyone has ever said goodbye to me.

Yes, I did meet my dog after she had passed. I literally touched her. It was not a dream. It happened during an out of body experience. (not a very great out of body experience either!) But absolutely life-changing and amazing. The most amazing thing that had ever happened to me.
That was not even a 'goodbye'. She didn't stop at that but does come back to visit sometimes.

Everyone's experiences with their animal companions are so heart-warming and lovely! I am glad to read about them.

jenriggs -I have an idea.
Just set aside some time to send Riggs all your love each day. Smile, and feel the joy and the longing to meet again. When you lie down to go to sleep, say "I will have a lucid dream, and I will remember I love Riggs!"
It might happen?
They will respond to the love. When two hearts meet, there is a meeting. On the astral, that can sometimes translate into a literal meeting.....

I have several times. Sometimes my tortoiseshell cat Hallie who died over a year ago will come and visit me in lucid dreams and astral projections. My dog will also hang around me when I astral project also but she's still alive. I guess if we are both sleeping at the same time she decides we should hang out then too lol.

I have heard the purring of my cat Axi ... I used to sleep with her and I was lying down on the bed at the time. I was conscious of an author who had established a cat goddess making a man a god and that was pretty much what happened.

thankst

Thanks everyone for such heartwarming stories. In case of any one else reading this, I am happy to hear stories of pets visiting us from the other side, not just dreaming, because the stories of seeing a pet visiting is great already! My current dog has cancer, andand euthanasia is an option right now....guess I am just sensitive right now. Thanks again!
