In the afterlife, you can create whatever you want. So I think if you want a hamburger, in the afterlife, you just have to imagine it and then *boom* a nice hot juicy Big Mac is in your hands. The next morning after my brother passed I woke up to the smell of coffee and a tuna melt. I could smell the toast, tuna and coffee. I knew it was him because in the last 6 months of his life he was fed through a stomach tube and was unable to eat anything with his mouth and he told me that he would dream about eating food. So it would make perfect sense to me that as soon as he crossed over and was whole again, he would enjoy all the foods he hadn't been able to for the previous 6 months. |

Yes we may create for ourselves a burger but it can't be a McDonald's Big Mac or whatever because it wasn't created by the restaurant. Our mind can imagine it to taste the same as we remember and that will help satisfy our temporary desire for food. Same goes for other things - a cup of coffee, drink of beer etc. They can be thought into existence and consuming them can be experienced. It will be almost as real but eventually we will find we have no need of, and no more desire for, those things. |

You'd be surprised what others have created out on the astral plane. |
[b][ this is a new one to me I thought heaven and a spiritual world is a peaceful loving place
The earthly plane can be a horrible place to live in but the heaven world and a spiritual world is such a loving peaceful place/B] |
I suspect most people belief about Heaven resonates very closely with what you, dream jo, believe. At least that is my opinion.

Folk MAY be able to fashion a personal look-alike, taste-alike, beef-type burger with all the fixings but it's not a Big Mac any more than the beer you create for yourself can be Budweiser or any other brand. The etheric dimension enables individuals to create for themselves what they feel for a time that they need but at best what's created is just something apparently similar. Makes you think, huh? |

well if there is a mcdonald's store in heaven, does that mean stores are spirits and can go to heaven when they die?

I've heard from more than one spirit that they can drink in pubs in the afterlife, and they expressed a little disappointment that they can't get drunk though. It seems you can go through the motions in an imaginal way. |

Yes they can do both but the actions are imaginary. There is no food. There is no drink. There are no bars or pubs. There is no alcohol on which to get drunk. As Bluto has pointed out, the individuals are simply going through the motions and doing so may be important in helping them adjust to their new conditions. |

Big macs are easy to replicate. And the special sauce is easy too. I used to work for McDonalds as a teen and big macs were my favorite. I mix Marie's thousand island dressing with kraft tartar sauce in equal amounts and a bit of heinz catsup because I always add catsup to it. And it tastes exactly like McDonald's special sauce. I made one a few nights ago for dinner. |
Cravings, desires, imagination, beliefs?
Sounds like human depictions, in which individual mind/body creations are leading the show.. |
